The students embarked on an insightful educational journey to the District and Session Court in Pune, Maharashtra. Accompanied by their esteemed faculty members, including Dr. Sameena, Prof. Sangeeta, and Prof. Rajaram, this educational visit was meticulously organized by the School of Law, catering to first-year and second-year law students.
The students were afforded a unique and immersive experience throughout their visit, observing various court proceedings and actively engaging with legal arguments. This hands-on exposure provided them with practical insights into the functioning of the legal system, enriching their academic understanding with real-world scenarios. The educational venture extended to observing proceedings in Special Courts, including the CBI – ACB COURT, where students had the invaluable opportunity to witness cross-examination techniques employed by legal advocates.
The success of this enriching experience can be attributed to the guidance of Dr. Sunny Thomas, the Dean of the School of Law, whose vision and leadership facilitated this educational initiative. The visit received all necessary permissions and logistical support, skillfully orchestrated by the Placement Officer, Ashwini Wani. Overall, the School of Law’s educational journey to the District and Session Court enhanced the students’ practical understanding of legal proceedings and underscored the institution’s commitment to providing holistic and experiential legal education.
